Muizenberg, Fish Hoek, Kommetjie and Simon's Town
Parts of Steenberg The City will temporarily shut off the water supply to Main Road, Frogmore Road, Uithof Street, Lake, Easson, Aiken, Aberfeldy and Chard Roads and possibly surrounding roads in Steenberg, on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, from 08:00 until 20:00. This will allow the maintenance team to safely install valves and connect the newly installed pipeline along Main Road to the existing water supply infrastructure. The affected areas will experience no water during this period. Consumers are encouraged to store water in advance in clean, sealed containers for domestic use.

Zero-pressure tests (ZPT) and conditional assessments will be done on the water supply network, resulting in water supply disruptions in the following areas: • Thursday, 12 November 2026, 09:00 to 16:00: Capricorn

Affected: Murdock Valley, Simon’s Town along Simon's Town Main Road from the City of Cape Town Municipal Boundary to Valley Road.
Fish Hoek along Fish Hoek Main Road from Kommetjie Main Road to the bridge over the Silvermine Stream as well as along Kommetjie Main Road from the bend near Sun Valley (opposite Harrington Road) and along Kommetjie Main Road from 16th Avenue to Fish Hoek Main Road.
Affected: Simon’s Town along Simon’s Town Main Road from Fish Hoek Main Road to Court Road and along St Georges Street from Court Road to Flora Steps.
